Lisa Baker, DNP, PMHNP-BC

I am board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and am a licensed nurse practitioner, authorized to practice and prescribe medication in Arizona, Washington State, and Montana. My scope of practice is the treatment of psychiatric mental health concerns and disorders.

I earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Arizona. I am a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Neuroscience Education Institute as well as several psychiatric provider consultation and collaboration groups.

I have earned additional post-graduate continuing education to best help my patients including: certification as a Master Psychopharmacologist from the Neuroscience Education Institute, cognitive behavior therapy for anxiety, depression, and insomnia, mindfulness in psychotherapy, mindful self-compassion, dialectical behavior therapy skills, somatic regulation, biofeedback, and breathwork. I enjoy mind-body connections to mental health, and I am excited to be teaching yoga classes and workshops for mental health.

My professional interests revolve around the careful selection of medication when appropriate and holistic, integrative options to reduce distress, improve mental health, and support radiant health. I am grounded in the scientific study of evidence-based holistic mental healthcare, adhering to psychiatric standards of practice for safety and efficacy.
